In addition to my research on active and passive control of mechanical systems, I had the opportunity to work on the following projects: 2014-present: Vibration Measurement & Mitigation in Machine Guns. Within an industrial consorsium, I study two subjects: (i) The damping of recoil forces using active and semi-active techniques; and (ii) the development of a non-contact sensor for the measurement of the barrel vibration during burst firing : Vibration Damping of Turbomachinery Components. In the framework of my PhD thesis and in collaboration with SAFRAN Techspace Aero, I studied the damping of turbomachinery rotationally periodic structures using passive piezoelectric shunts : Modelling, Analysis & Control of Future Extremely Large Telescopes. I studied the control of segmented mirrors, where thousands of sensors and actuators are involved. I studied also the fault diagnosis of the mirrors edge sensors. Vibration Laboratory, Arizona State University, Phoenix, USA. I studied the effect of blade mistuning on the dynamics of turbomachinery bladed disks (with prof. Marc Mignolet). I am responsible of the exercises lessons and the projects of the following courses: Mechatronics: course dedicated to piezoelectric and electromagnetic transducers and to the active control of structures, based on the book of "Vibration Control of Actives Structures", A. Preumont, Springer Robotics: the course explains the basics of kinematics and dynamics of robot manipulators. Selected Topics in Applied Mechanics: the course consists of 5 visits of mechanical companies, followed by a debate about an engineering problem of actuality.
