6 Carnival Trip 2016 A Grumpy Tour! All went well, kids were great, no hassle from them (just 1 taxi no show to bus station this year), Barnes Travel brilliant as usual. Now, I paid for coach parking & tip for driver. (Last year it was parking only) I gave to our guests. I received from those who travelled ) So it owes me 30.00! Here is something to consider: We hire a 62/63 seat coach; the theory is 2 groups of 20 for guests leaving the balance for Phoenicians & their guests. Now I ve been organising these trips for some years & our guests really have a good time but it would appear that a large number of our members of our club do not want to go to the Carnivals (even at per seat!) Doesn t matter whether it is a Friday or a Saturday. If next year s President wants to continue with this worthy outing I would be happy to organise it, but I would propose 3 groups of 18 leaving 8/10 seats for Phoenix Rotary.
