Prove that the altitude of a right triangle drawn to the hypotenuse will produce 3 similar right triangles. Use the Pythagorean Theorem to prove 1 G-SRT.2 G-SRT.3 G.8.1 The Pythagorean Theorem and its Converse Students will prove figures are similar by showing their sides have the same ratio (find the scale factor) and corresponding angles are congruent. Include similar solids.
