2 Game Objective GAME OBJECTIVE The object of the game is to survive as long as possible. Avoid obstacles and the track edge. Collect bonuses and shields. There are four modes in the game: Stages: Finish 48 runs in four different stages. Endless: Try to survive as long as possible in four difficulty levels. Survival: Survival mode is much harder than Endless mode as you don't have a shield. Zones: This mode is the hardest! You don't have a shield and your fuel is limited. If your fuel tank reaches empty, you lose. Y o u r p r o g r e s s i n t h e g a m e i s automatically saved after each finished run.
Do not turn the power off and on repeatedly or remove the Game Card or SD Card while saving. Make sure not to reset the system during saves or get dirt in the terminals. These actions could result in permanent data loss. Do not use external accessories or software to modify your save d a t a, a s t h i s c a n l e a d t o a n inability to progress or loss of save data. Any modification is permanent, so be careful.
3 Controls CONTROLS This software involves moving the Nintendo 3DS system around while you play. Ensure that you have adequate space around you and that you hold the system firmly in both hands while playing. Failing to do so could result i n i n j u r y a n d / o r d a m a g e t o surrounding objects. C h a n g e d i r e c t i o n b y u s i n g t h e Motion Sensor or the Circle Pad. (You can switch between control types Motion Sensor and Circle Pad in the Options menu). Activate bonuses by touching the button on the bottom screen or the A button. You can use each bonus once, and you can only have one at a time. Shields are activated automatically. You can have a maximum of four of them. During each game there are also hazard zones.
4 Hazard Zones HAZARD ZONES Blackout: Tunnel is rendered in negative. Trails are not visible. Gravity Well: Visibility is very limited, vision is distorted, external force makes it necessary to adjust movements. Hue Shift: The cubes are in white and the tunnel is multi-colored. Dark Nebula: C u b e s a r e i n n e g a t i v e, t u n n e l intensity changes over time. Plasma Cloud: You can encounter a plasma vortex here. A collision with this obstacle takes away one shield and resets any bonus.
5 Bonuses BONUSES Shield (orange fields): Can be used to destroy obstacles. One shield is needed to break a cube obstacle. Two are required to destroy a beam. Shields deplete with time. Player can hold up to four shields. Quake (red fields): Destroy all visible obstacles when activated. Time Dilation (blue fields): Slows down the game. Space Fold (green fields): Deactivates hazard zones when activated. If triggered outside a hazard zone, this bonus has no effect.
