2 The appointments are on contract basis (without any reference to their pensions). The period of contract for various levels is as indicated below. 1. Upto 3 Years 2. Upto 4 Years 3. ; and Upto 5 Years 4. Upto 3 years The contract period may be renewed on satisfactory performance and subject to the maximum age limit of 65 years. OTHER ALLOWANCES: 1. Accommodation within the campus, if available on payment of standard rent as may be fixed. 2. Sponsorship of the Institute for attending One State Conference in a year and one International Conference every two years, provided paper is presented; 3. Free treatment for self and family (spouse, dependent children and dependent parents) as per existing medical reimbursement rules of Government of Andhra Pradesh; 4. L.T.C. every 2 years for Home Town and every 4 years any where in India; 5. Permission for pay clinic, if any, run by the concerned Government Medical College / Hospital / Aarogyasri patients / public as decided by the Executive Board. ELIGIBILITY As per the MCI norms of MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF TEACHERS IN MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS REGULATIONS 1998 / DCI norms. PROFESSOR The applicant shall be a doctor with Post Graduate Degree in Medical Speciality concerned recognized by the M.C.I. / D.C.I. Worked as Reader / Professor in the speciality for 4 years in a recognized Medical College / Dental College. OR worked as Reader / Professor in the Speciality for 3 years in a recognized Medical / Dental College with minimum of two (2) Research Publications.

3 ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Worked as Professor in the Speciality for 5 years in a recognized Medical College / Dental College. OR worked as Professor in the Speciality for 4 years in a recognized Medical / Dental College with minimum of two (2) Research Publications. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Requisite recognized Post Graduate Qualification in the subject as permitted by MCI. EPIDEMOLOGIST MD (Community Medicine) TUTOR M.B.B.S / M.Sc Medical Anatomy, Medical Physiology, Medical Pharmacology, Medical Bio-Chemistry, Medical Microbiology for non-medical persons. LECTURER IN STATISTICS Requisite recognized Post Graduate Qualification in the subject. Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator/. DESIRABLE Minimum of 4 Research Publications Indexed in Index Medicus / National journal for Professor and Professor and one research publication in International journal in addition is desirable for Professor posts. METHOD OF APPOINTMENT The appointment of the Professor, Professor, Professor and shall be made by the Selection Committee of the Institution as per rules inforce.
