SOME GENERALIZATIONS OF K-G-FRAMES IN HILBERT C - MODULE H. LABRIGUI 1, A. TOURI 1 and S. KABBAJ 1 arxiv: v1 [math.oa] 11 Jan 2019 Abstract. In this papers we investigate the g-frame and Bessel g-sequence related to a linear bounded operator K in Hilbert C -module and we establish some results. 1. Introduction Frames were first introduced in 1952 by Duffin and Schaefer [3] in the study of nonharmonic fourier series. Frames possess many nice properties which make them very useful in wavelet analysis, irregular sampling theory, signal processing and many other fields. The theory of frames has been generalized rapidly and various generalizations of frames in Hilbert spaces and Hilbert C -modules, for example -K-g frames in C -module [8]. In this article, we characterize the concept of a canonical K-dual Bessel sequence of a K-g-frame that generalizes the classical dual of a g-frame The paper is organized as follows, in section 2 we briefly recall the definitions and basic properties of K-g-frames in Hilbert C -modules. In section 3, we characterize some result for K-dual Bessel g-sequence for given K-g-frames.In section 4, we use a family of linear operators to characterize atomic systems 2. Preliminaries We begin this section with the following definition and some result. Definition Let K End A (H), we call a sequence {Λ i} a K-g-frame for H with respect to {H i } if there are two positive constants A and B such that: A K f,k f Λ i f,λ i f B f,f,... f H Lemma 2.2 (see [5]).. Let {Λ i } be a Bessel g-sequence for H with bound B. Then for each sequence {f i } H i, the series Λ i (f i) converges unconditionally. 2 2 H. LABRIGUI, A. TOURI, S. KABBAJ In [6], Sum showed that every g-frame can be considered as a frame. More precisely, let {Λ i } be a g-frame for H and let {e i,j } j Ji be an orthonormal basis for H i. Then there exists a frame {u i,j },j Ji of H such that and u i,j = Λ i e i,j (2.1) Λ i f = j J i f,u i,j e i,j,... f H and Λ i g = j J i g,e i,j u i,j,... g H We call {u i,j },j Ji the frame induced by {Λ i } with respect to {e i,j } j Ji The next lemma is a characterization of g-frame by a frame. Lemma 2.3 (see [6]).. Let {Λ i } be a family of linear operators, and let u i,j be defined as in (2.1). Then {Λ i } is a g-frame for H if and only if {u i,j },j Ji is a frame for H. Lemma 2.4 (see [1]).. Let H be a separablehilbert space and K End A (H).Then a g-sequence {Λ i} is a K-g-frame for H if and only if {Λ i } is a Bessel g-sequence for H and the range of synthesis operators R(K) R(T Λ ). Lemma 2.5 (see [1]).. Let H be a separable hilbert space and K End A (H). Let {Λ i} be a family of linear operators. The following statements are equivalent : 1) {Λ i } is a K-g-frame for H with respect to {H i } 2) {Λ i } is a Bessel g-sequence for H and there exists a Bessel g-sequence {Γ i } for H respect to {H i } such that Kf = Λ i Γ if... f H Lemma 2.6 (see [2]).. Let U,V End A (H). The following statements are equivalent : 1) R(U) R(V). 2) UU λvv for some λ 0 3) There exists Q End A (H) such that U = VQ Moreover, if 1), 2) et 3) are valid, then there exists a unique operator Q such that 1) Q 2 = inf{µ : UU λvv } 2) N(U) = N(C) 3) R(C) R(V ) 3. 3 SOME GENERALIZATIONS OF K-G-FRAMES IN HILBERT C - MODULE 3 Let K End A (H) and {Λ i} is a K-g-frame for H. A Bessel g-sequence {Γ i } for H is called a K-dual Bessel g-sequence of {Λ i } if: Kf = Λ i Γ if... f H. Theorem Let K End A (H) and {Λ i} is a K-g-frame for H with optimal lower frame bound A If Γ = {Γ i } is a K-dual bessel sequence of {Λ i }, then A T Γ 2, where T Γ denotes the synthesis operator of Γ. Moreover, there exists a unique K-dual bessel sequence θ = {θ i } of {Λ i } such that T θ 2 = A where T θ denotes the synthesis operator of θ. Supposethat C 0 isalower K-g-frameboundof{Λ i } ; then foranyf H, we have : C K f,k f Λ i f,λ i f So, This implies that : C K f,k f T Λ f,t Λ f K f,k f 1 C T Λf,T Λ f So, A = max{λ 0,λ K f,k f T Λ f,t Λ f, f H} = inf{µ 0, K f,k f µ T Λ f,t Λ f, f H} Since {Γ i } is a K-dual Bessel g-sequence of {Λ i }, for any f H, we have : Kf = Λ i Γ if = T Λ T Γ f So, K = T Λ T Γ Thus : KK = T Λ T Γ T ΓT Λ T Γ 2 T Λ T Λ So for any f H we have K f 2 = K f,k f = KK f,f T Γ 2 T Λ T Λ f,f = T Γ 2 T Λ f 2 So T Λ 2 A. Since{Λ i } isak-g-frame,wehavethatrange(k) Range(T Λ )Bylemma.2.6 there exists a unique bounded operator Φ : H i H such that K = ΦT Λ and Φ 2 = inf{µ : K f 2 µ T Λ f 2, f H} = A
4 H. LABRIGUI, A. TOURI, S. KABBAJ Let Θ ie ij = Φ(e ij δ i ), then it is easy to check that Θ = {Θ i } is a Bessel g- sequence, since for any f H we have : K f = ΦT Λf = Γ iλ i f Theorem Let {Λ i } be a Bessel g-sequence for H with a frame operator S Λ. If {Λ i } has a dual g-frame on R(K) and S Λ (R(K)) R(K), then it is a K-g-frame in H. Assume that {Γ i } is a dual g-frame of {Λ i } on R(K). Then for each f H can be expressed as f = f 1 +f 2, where f 1 R(K) et f 2 (R(K)) then Λ i f,λ i f = Λ i (f 1 +f 2 ),Λ i (f 1 +f 2 ) = Λ i f 1,Λ i f 1 + Λ i f 2,Λ i f 2 +2Re( Λ i Λ if 1,f 2 ) Note that Λ i Λ if 1 = S Λ f 1 S Λ (R(K)) R(K) and so we have Λ i Λ if 1,f 2 = 0 Hence Λ i f,λ i f = Λ i f 1,Λ i f 1 + Λ i f 2,Λ i f 2 by lemma 2.2 Γ iλ i f 1 converge and so does π R(K)Γ iλ i f where π R(K) is an orthogonal projection of H onto R(K). Then for each g R(K) we have g,f 1 = Λ i Γ ig,f 1 = g,γ i Λ ig = g, π R(K) Γ i Λ ig It follows that : f 1 = π R(K)Γ iλ i g Thus K f 4 = K (f 1 +f 2 ) 4 = K f 1 4 = K f 1,K f 1 2 = f 1,KK f 1 2 = = π R(K) Γ iλ i f 1,KK f 1 2 Λ i f 1,π R(K) Γ i KK f 1 2 ( Λ i f 1 2 )( Γπ R(K) KK f 1 2 ) D K 2 K f 2 ( Λ i f 1 2 )
SOME GENERALIZATIONS OF K-G-FRAMES IN HILBERT C - MODULE 5 Where D is the Bessel bound of {Γ i }, then we have D 1 K 2 K f 2 Λ i f 1 2 Hence Λ i f 2 = Λ i f Λ i f 2 2 Λ i f 1 2 D 1 K 2 K f 2 4. Atomic system in Hilbert C -module Definition 4.1 (see [4]).. Let K End A (H), a sequence {f i} in H is called an atomic system for K, it the following conditions are satisfied : 1) {f i } is a Bessel sequence. 2) There exists c 0 such that for every f H, there exists a = {a i } l 2 (I) such that a l 2 c f and Kf = a if i. The following lemma characterizes an atomic system in terms of a K-frame. Lemma 4.2 (see [4]).. Let {f i } be a sequence in H, and let K End A (H), then {f i} is an atomic system for K if and only {f i } is a K-frame for H. We now give a characterization of an atomic system with a sequence of linear operators. Theorem Let {Λ i } be a family of linear operator, then the following statements are equivalent : 1) {Λ i } is an atomic system for K. 2) {Λ i } is a K-g-frame for H. 3) There exists a g-bessel sequence {Γ i } such that Kf = Λ i Γ if. it easily obtaind by lemma 2.3, 2.5 and 4.2 Theorem Let K 1,K 2 End A (H), if {Λ i} is an atomic system for K 1 and K 2, and α,β are the scalars, then {Λ i } is an atomic system for αk 1 +βk 2 and K 1 K 2. Since {Λ i } is an atomic system for K 1 and K 2 there are positive constants A n,b n > 0(n = 1,2) such that A n K nf,k nf Λ i f,λ i f B n f,f,... f H (4.1)
6 H. LABRIGUI, A. TOURI, S. KABBAJ Since We have K 1 f 2 = 1 α 2 αk 1 f 2 = 1 α 2 (αk 1 +βk 2 )f βk 2 f 2 1 α 2 (αk 1 +βk 2 )f 2 1 α 2 βk 2 f 2 (αk 1 +βk 2)f 2 α 2 K 1f 2 + β 2 K 2f ( α 2 K 1f 2 + β 2 K 2f 2 + A 1 A 2 β 2 K 1f 2 + A 2 A 1 α 2 K 2f 2 ) = A 2 α 2 +A 1 β 2 2A 1 A 2 (A 1 K 1f 2 +A 2 K 2f 2 ) Hence Λ i f,λ i f 1 2 (A 1 K1f 2 +A 2 K2f 2 ) and from inequalities (4.1), we get : Λ i f,λ i f B 1 +B 2 f 2, f H 2 therefore, {Λ i } is an (αk 1 +βk 2 )-g-frame A 1 A 2 A 2 α 2 +A 1 β 2( (αk 1+βK 2)f 2 ) By theorem 4.3 {Λ i } is an atomic system of (αk 1 + βk 2 ) Now for each f H, we have (K 1 K 2 ) f 2 = K 2 K 1 f 2 K 2 2 K 1 f 2 Hence {Λ i } is an atomic system for K 1, we have A 1 K2 2 (K 1K 2 ) f 2 A 1 K1 f 2 Λ i f,λ i f B 1 f 2, f H by theorem 4.3 {Λ i } is an atomic system for K 1 K 2. Theorem Let {Λ i } and {Γ i } be two atomic systems for K, and let the corrsponding synthesis operators be T Λ and T Γ respectively. If T Λ TΓ = 0 and U or V is surjective satisfying UK = K U or VK = K V, then {Λ i U +Γ i V} is an atomic system for K. Since{Λ i } and{γ i } aretwoatomicsystemsfork, bytheorem4.3, {Λ i } and {Γ i } are two K-g-frames for H, and so there exist B 1 A 1 > 0 and B 2 A 2 > 0 such that : A 1 K f,k f Λ i f,λ i f B 1 f,f,...a 2 K f,k f Γ i f,γ i f B 1 f,f
SOME GENERALIZATIONS OF K-G-FRAMES IN HILBERT C - MODULE 7 Since T Λ TΓ = 0, for any f H, we have: Λ i Γ if = Γ i Λ if = 0 Therefore, for any f H, we have : (Λ i U +Γ i V)f 2 = Λ i U +Γ i Vf,Λ i U +Γ i Vf = Λ i Uf 2 + Γ i Vf 2 +2Re Λ i Γ if,uf = Λ i Uf 2 + Γ i Vf 2 B 1 Uf 2 +B 2 Vf 2 (B 1 U 2 +B 2 V 2 ) f 2 Without loss of generality, assume that U is surjective; then there exists C > 0 such that Uf,Uf C f,f for any f H. Since UK = K U, we have : (Λ i U +Γ i V)f 2 = Λ i Uf 2 + Γ i Vf 2 Λ i Uf 2 A 1 K Uf 2 = A 1 UK f 2 A 1 C K f 2 So, {Λ i U + Γ i V} is a K-g-frame and thus an atomic system for K by theorem.4.3. Let B=0, and we get the following corollory. Corollary Suppose that K End A (H) and that {Λ i} is an atomic system for K. If U is surjective and UK = K U, then {Λ i U} is an atomic system for K. Let U = V = Id H, then we obtain the following corollory for a K-g-frame. Corollary Let {Λ i } and {Γ i } be two parseval K-g-frames for H, with synthesis operator T Λ and T Γ, respectively. If T Λ T Γ = 0 then {Λ i+γ i } is a 2-tight K-g-frame for H. Theorem Let {Λ i } and {Γ i } be two atomic system for K and let the corresponding synthesis operators be T 1 and T 2, respectively. If T Λ T Γ = 0 and U i End A (H) satisfies R(T i ) R(U 1 T i) for i = 1,2; then {Λ i U 1 +Γ i U 2 } is an atomic system for K.
8 H. LABRIGUI, A. TOURI, S. KABBAJ Since T 1 T2 = 0, we have : (Λ i U 1 +Γ i U 2 )f,(λ i U 1 +Γ i U 2 )f = Λ i U 1 f,λ i U 1 f + Γ i U 2 f,γ i U 2 f = T 1 U 1f,T 1 U 1f + T 2 U 2f,T 2 U 2f (4.2) (4.3) = (U 1 T 1) f,(u 1 T 1) f + (U 2 T 2) f,(u 2 T 2) f (4.4) Since {Λ i } and {Γ i } are atomic systems, they are K-g-frames by theorem 4.3. Thus from lemma 2.4, we have that R(K) R(T i ) R(U i T i ). So by lemma 2.6, for each i = 1,2, there existe λ i > 0 such that : KK λ i (U i T i )(U i T i ) By (4.4) for each f H, we have (Λ i U 1 +Γ i U 2 )f,(λ i U 1 +Γ i U 2 )f = (U1 T i) f,(u1 T i) f + (U2 T i) f,(u2 T i) f ( 1 λ λ 2 ) K f,k f Hence{Λ i U+Γ i V} isak-g-frameandthusanatomicsystemfork bytheorem 4.3. Before the following result, we need a simple lemma, wich is a generalization of [19, Theorem 3.5]. Lemma Let {Λ i } be a Bessel g-sequence for H with a frame operator S Λ. Then {Λ i } is a K-g-frame if and only if there exists λ > 0 such that S Λ λkk. {Λ i } is a K-g-frame with frame bounds, A,B and a frame operator S Λ if and only if That is, A K f,k f So the conclusion holds. Λ i f,λ i f = S Λ f,f A f,f, f H AKK f,f S Λ f,f Bf,f, f H Theorem Let {Λ i } be an atomic system for K, and let S Λ be the frame operator of {Λ i }. Let U be a positive operator; then {Λ i +Λ i U} is an atomic system for K. Moreover, for any natural number n, {Λ i +Λ i U n } is an atomic system for K.
SOME GENERALIZATIONS OF K-G-FRAMES IN HILBERT C - MODULE 9 Since {Λ i } is an atomic system for K, by lemma 1.6, {Λ i } is a K-g-frame for H. Then by lemma 4.9 there exists λ > 0 such that S Λ λkk. The frame operator for {Λ i +Λ i U} is (I H +U) S Λ (I H +U). In fact, for each f H, we have (Λ i +Λ i U) (Λ i +Λ i U)f = (I H +U) Λ i Λ i(i H +U)f = (I H +U) S Λ (I H +U)f Since U,S > 0, (I H +U) S Λ (I H +U) S Λ λkk, and again by lemma 4.9, we can conclude that {Λ i +Λ i U} is a K-g-frame and an atomic system for K by theorem 3.3 For any natural number n, the frame operator fo {Λ i +Λ i U } is (I H +U n ) S Λ (I H +U n ). Similarly, {Λ i +Λ i U n } is an atomic system for K Acknowledgment.
