2 Everyone has Psychic gifts. There is no way to dispute this and no way to prove it as well. We use our psychic gifts to protect us each day, to guide us in our lives even though we do not realize it. There are many signs of our gifts. From knowing who is on the phone or who is at the door, getting a sudden idea from nowhere, or waking up in the morning with the solution to a problem that you were having. All these are products of our psychic gifts. This manual is a step by step guide to help you build and enforce your psychic abilities. We all have one gift that is very strong and others that are weak and it is up to us to develop them as strong as we would like them to be. Page 2 of 15

3 History of Psychic Abilities Throughout history we have seen or heard of people who are extraordinarily gifted people. From Kings right hand man to Nastrodomas, we can see that throughout history psychics have been around. And it is through them that we can learn what is needed to be as gifted as them. The problem that existed back then was that if you showed your gift, you were generally persecuted for them, as it was considered witchcraft by the church. Only if you were working for a powerful person could you openly use the your gifts. It was not until the 1800 with the Hydesville rappings that psychics finally came into the open and were generally accepted to a point. With the new wave of openness came a flood of new psychics opening their doors and the practice of seeing a psychic for help fourished. However, there also came a lot of con people who saw an opening for easy money as people were easy to fool. Even so, psychics and mediums performed amazing feats of levitation, trance mediumships and psychical apparations that are no longer seen today. Even today a psychic booth in a carnival is still considered as only entertainment, as well as psychic fairs and any other psychic show. Not much credence is given to the local psychic unless they can prove that they know what they are doing. But what is the difference between todays psychics and those of the 1800's? The main reason is the society we live in. We are so inundated with noise and our way of lives do not support the quiet and self absorbtion that is required to become a high level psychic. We rarely get the 10 minutes a day that is needed to meditate and even if we do, there are so few teachers that we lose our way and give up on what we need the most. In the 1800's there were no tv s, radios or any kind of distraction. People often sat alone for hours on end with only themselves to occupy their minds. This is the optimum time for psychic development. Today, this is just not possible for most people. Page 3 of 15

4 Psychic Test Here is a quick test to see how psychic you really are: 1) Did you ever know who was on the phone before you answered it? 2) Did you ever know who was at the door before you answered it? 3) Did you ever know of a death or illness in the family before you were told? 4) Did you ever know when something bad was going to happen? 5) Did you ever know the sex of an unborn child? 6) Did you ever get a thought that was not your own thought? 7) Did you ever dream of a passed loved one? 8) Did you ever finish a thought for someone else? 9) Did you ever have a DEJA VU that came true? 10) Have you ever know the results of a test before you saw it? 5 How psychics work Ever wonder how a psychic can read your inner most thoughts? Does this mean they have Xray vision and can see through bone and read the brain? The answer is no, because there is nothing contained in the brain for them to read. There are three bodies that we have and it is important to understand how they work. The first one is the Physical body, which we use to move around and live. This body generally does nothing other than to bring forth psychical sensations to mind who will interpret them and cause the body to react to them. The second body is the Mind Body, also sometimes called the emotional body. This body does all the processing of data and emotions, does our thinking and is the center of all communications and thinking. It interacts with both the physical body and the spiritual body to make sure that we are in harmony. The third body is the Spiritual body, which is our connection to the spirit world. It is our true body and is used to store all the info we gather with our physical body. This is often called our aura or inner self. This body is also where our clairvoyance, clairaudience and other spiritual gifts originates from. The brain in itself does not retain our memories. It is used only to control our physical bodies. All the data that we collect with our 5 senses are processed by the Mind and then stored in our Auras, or spiritual body. The proof of that is when we pass, our spirits still remember all the memories that was collected over the years, as well as past lives. So, when a psychic starts to read you, their clairvoyance, or spiritual sight, is looking at your spiritual body, the aura, and reading what is there. There is no Xray needed as psychic readings are always done on a spiritual level, not the physical level. Page 5 of 15

6 Spirit Guides Spirit guides are beings that follow us on our path in life. They are there to help us in our times of need and guide us spiritually. Their main purpose is to help us develop our spiritual gifts such as our psychic abilities. We choose our spirit guides before we are born onto earth. They help us plan our lives and what lessons are to be learned. When we are born, they travel on the spiritual plane with us and never leave our sides until we pass back. During out journey we will have a lot of guides with us, depending on what we are learning at the time, however our Spirit Guide never leaves. It is important that we get their help by voicing our desires. Each night talk to your spirit guide and ask them to help you develop more. Say things like I am ready for my next lesson or say I want to be psychic. This will affirm to them that you are serious about being psychic. It is not necessary to know your spirit guide intimately but to know that you have one is important. They will help you with each gift if you let them and you work hard at it. Doing it as part time is not really enough as they want you to be dedicated to the job at hand. Page 6 of 15

7 Visualizations Visualization is an important technique to learn if you want to be psychic. The ability to imagine things and to see things in detail will help immensely with opening up clairvoyance and other gifts. Visualizations do not have to be complicated. A simple visualization can be to visualize a sports car or something else in your mind and trying to maintain the image. Then, once you have mastered the ability to keep the object still and focused, start to add things to the object and make details more minute. The final step is to be able to view the object in 3D, in other words, turn the object around and see all sides of the object. Another visualization is the ability to fly. One of the exercises that work really well is to imagine yourself falling off a cliff and flying through valleys and mountains. You will notice after a while how clear your visualization is getting. Another visualization is to imagine a garden you can go to in the time of need. You access this garden by walking down a flight of steps which leads you to a door that is circled by white light. You open the door and you enter into a garden that you have created in your own mind. IT can have anything in it, from flowers, to ponds, lakes, even the ocean. What s most important is that you make it your own, where only people who you invite can come in. Once you have perfected it, try to invite people in, like you guide or passed loved ones. 8 Meditation Meditation is one of those concepts that people have different opinions on. For me, the art of meditation is directly proportional to the task at hand. Here are the three basic meditations that are commonly taught. 1) Light Meditation: This meditation is often used for visualizations and relaxation. It allows the body to be relaxed yet conscious of its surroundings. In psychic development it is used to connect to the astral plane and to allow spirits to send messages to the psychic. 2) Medium Meditation: This meditation is often used in things like Yoga and other relaxation methods used to connect with the inner self. The person basically moves to a level where they can disconnect with their physical being yet remain conscious in physical plane. This allows contact with the inner self but rarely with spiritual beings as the energies are being directed to the inside, not outside. 3) Deep Meditation: This meditation is used almost exclusively for OBE or Out of the Body Experience. The person has moved to the point of separating the physical body from the spiritual body. This allows the person to move into the astral plane with a fully conscious mind but has no contact with the body. So as can be seen, the best meditation for the beginners psychic is the light meditation. The trick is to know when you have contact. Page 8 of 15

9 Tools Tools are often used to develop your psychic skills. Tools can be anything from Pendulums, Tarot Cards, Oracle Cards, runes or anything that forces the psychic to focus on an object. What essentially happens is that the user will use the tools to focus or meditate on the sitter so that impressions can be received. The tools help as a good starting place with the sitter but the use of impressions or intuition is important in identifying a psychic event. If starting with tools, it is important to find someone that you know that will not belittle you or be too harsh on you. As a beginner, it is important to understand that you will be wrong and that people may be harsh with you at this point. Find a group of people or friends who will support you on your training Page 9 of 15

10 Exercise 1 One of the main things with being psychic is understanding the information that is floating around us all the time. We pick up a lot of information while we are awake but don t realize how much psychic information we pick up. This exercise simply lets you listen to yourself to understand what information is being given you. Find a quiet spot that you can relax in for about 5 minutes. Unplug all the phones and try to turn down all the outside noises. Next, Center all of your thoughts into you mind and listen to everything that is going on. Do not interact with the thoughts, just watch them and see if you can detect which is your thoughts and which are not. When you are finished, jot down some notes on how the thoughts that were not yours felt and how strong the voice was. Chart the difference so that you can understand them in your normal waking hours. 11 Exercise 2 In your daily life, try to concentrate more on things that are happening around you. Try to focus on things that seem strange, like the messages you hear or odd things that are happening that you would not normally notice. Take the time to analyze things that happen instead of shrugging them off. For instance, when you say something like That s odd stop and think about what is odd about it... was it a deja vu? Was it information that was given to you before? Analyzing everything that happens allows us to connect to our psychic abilities and use them, to understand how they work. Page 11 of 15

12 Exercise 3 One of the important exercises is the Secret Garden exercise. This exercise will allow you to work all three of your senses in one go. This exercise also may allow you past loved ones and your spirit guides to come and talk to you on this level. Basically, this exercise will bring you into the Astral Plane and allow you to connect with your spiritual self. Start by getting comfortable and making sure you will not be disturbed. Relax in what ever way you feel comfortable with. Then imagine yourself going down a flight of stairs into the darkness. Count each step from 1 to 20(or reversed if you prefer). With each step, voice in your head to relax. When you get to the bottom of the steps, then turn right and you will see a door, with white light shining around the edges. Walk towards it and open the door. On the other side, you will step into a garden that is filled with all things that you love. Make sure you imagine the flowers or plants that you like, try to smell them and feel them in your hands. Create a layout with ponds and park benches. This is your very private space which you can visit as many times as you would like. Page 12 of 15

14 Exercise 4 - With Tools If you have decided to train with tools, this exercise is important to get to know your tools and how you perceive things with them. This example uses Tarot cards but anything can be used. First shuffle the deck and as you shuffle, ask your guide when to stop. When you get the urge to stop, place the deck down on the table and turn over the first card. Study the card and write down the impression you get from it. Any first thoughts or feelings are important. Then study what you have written and see if it applies to yourself. Do this every day. Page 14 of 15

15 Exercise 5 Find a partner and sit with your back to them. Each of you should have a pen and paper on your lap. Close your eyes and for 1 minute, picture a tea cup in your mind and hold it there for a minute. Then, think of your partner and write down everything to come to you on the paper. Do this for at least two minutes and see if it matches the person. This is called reading the Aura Page 15 of 15
