2 Explanatory Notes La Coipa Exploration Results Results are reported for 32 diamond drill core holes completed at La Coipa; 13 at Catalina, 10 at Pompeya, 4 at Maritza, 3 at Azufrera, 1 at Cuenca and 1 at Atenas. Samples are typically collected in two metre intervals for diamond core and RC. Diamond core samples are sawed in half, along the length, with half placed in a plastic sample bag and sent to the lab, with the remaining half stored on site in core boxes. QA/QC certified reference material (standards), duplicates and blanks were inserted into the sample stream according to industry best practice. All samples were sent to Laboratory Geoanalitica Limitada in Coquimbo, Chile, an ISO 9002 certified laboratory. Au was analyzed for by using a 50 gram fire assay method with an atomic absorption finish and Ag was analyzed by aqua regia method with AAS finish and gravimetric analysis on values >50 g/t Ag. All results for the drill campaign are reported as Au grams per tonne (Au g/t), Ag grams per tonne (Ag g/t) and as Au Equivalent grams per tonne (Au Eq g/t). Au Eq is calculated using Ag g/t/70 and added to the Au g/t assay result. La Coipa composites are calculated using weighted average of Au Eq equal to or above 0.5 gram per tonne. No more than 5 metres of internal waste (<0.5 grams per tonne) is accepted and high grade samples were not cut. Down hole intercept widths are reported only, due to the irregular nature of the mineralization. 5 Explanatory Notes Chirano Exploration Results Results are reported for 34 diamond drill core holes and 4 RC holes completed at the Suraw deposit and 7 diamond drill core holes completed at the Akwaaba deposit. All 41 diamond drill holes drilled at Suraw and Akwaaba in 2015 are diamond drill core holes of HQ or NQ core diameter with RC pre-collars of variable depth. At Suraw and Akwaaba the dip of the drill holes are taken from the vertical being -90 degrees and horizontal being 0 degrees. Composite assay intervals reported for Suraw and Akwaaba diamond drill core results are calculated by taking a weighted average. No more than three consecutive metres of internal waste (<2.0 grams per tonne) is accepted, high grade samples are not cut. Down hole intercept widths and true widths are both reported. Sampling protocols followed long-establish procedures at Chirano that meet or exceed industry standards. Analytical laboratory analysis was performed by ALS Chemex at their Kumasi, Ghana facility and results met rigorous QA/QC requirements. Field duplicate samples are taken and blanks and standards are added to every batch submitted. 9 Explanatory Notes Dvoinoye Exploration Results All 13 drill holes in 2015 at Dvoinoye Zone 1 are diamond drill core holes of HQ core diameter. The Zone 1 vein dips sub-vertically, therefore, drill holes are angled between minus 40 and 65 to the west. The dip of the drill holes are taken from the vertical being -90 degrees and horizontal being 0 degrees. Composite assay intervals reported for diamond drill core results are calculated by taking a weighted average of all gold fire assay values equal to or above 1.0 gram per tonne gold. No more than three consecutive metres of internal waste (<1.0 grams per tonne) is accepted, high grade samples are not cut. Down hole widths are reported, with true widths for drill intersections estimated to be from 40-80% of down hole intervals.
