2 AMERICAN POTASH IN THE PARADOX BASIN AMP are currently operating two exploration and development programs in the Paradox Basin of Utah and Colorado, a potash project in Utah and two lithium projects in Utah and Colorado. UT Lithium project consists of ~ 13,200 total acres and the Colorado project comprises ~ 12,100 total acres. American Potash recently completed a JV earn-in option agreement with Power Metals (PWM:TSX-V). According to the JV agreement PWM can earn up to 65% interest in AMP s Utah lithium holdings by completing two lithium brine exploration wells on AMP s Utah lithium holdings area. The first well must be completed within six months of signing the JV agreement and the second well within one year of signing. Potash program is comprised of ~ 27,000 acre Potash Prospecting Permit area, which includes a ~ 6750 acre area designated for location or ore recovery / processing facilities (solar evaporation ponds, plant, offices, etc.) 2

3 AMERICAN POTASH EXPLORATION: Development-Production Business Plan Exploration Drill-test and evaluate lithium (Li), potassium (K) and bromine (Br) concentrations in specific brine aquifers in the Paradox Basin of Utah and Colorado. Development Determine brine geochemistry and brine aquifer parameters (flow rates, recharge rates, porosity and permeability, transmissivity, gradient, etc.) for prospective brine aquifers identified via exploration well drilling. These tests will allow AMP to identify brine aquifers with the best economic potential. Production Develop brine extraction well fields designed to extract Li (+- K, Br) enriched brine from previously identified economic brine aquifers. Brine will be pumped to the surface and into a series of solar evaporation ponds. As evaporation of the brine proceeds Li will be concentrated in the residual aqueous fluid ( bittern ) as salts (NaCl, KCl, etc.) precipitate out and collect at the bottom of the ponds. Lithiumenriched bittern will then be processed with soda ash (Na2CO3) resulting in precipitation of lithium carbonate (Li2CO3), a sellable end-product. If the market dictates, lithium carbonate can be further refined to another end-product, lithium hydroxide (LiOH), by reacting lithium carbonate (Li2CO3) with calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2), producing lithium hydroxide (LiOH) + calcium carbonate (CaCO3). 3

7 ABOUT AMERICAN : Potash Program America Potash (AMP) have been researching and working to establish a potash explorationdevelopment program in the Paradox Basin, SE Utah for over 8 years. AMP have acquired an extensive data base and geologic knowledge of the Paradox Basin. AMP research has resulted in acquisition of a significant data base comprised of historic oil and gas well logs, production data and 2-D seismic survey data. AMP s primary potash consultant, Agipito Associates, Inc., produced a NI compliant Exploration Target of 600-million to 1-billion tonnes potash potentially within the bounds of their Prospectng Permit application area. 7

8 AMP Lithium Exploration History in the Paradox Basin In 2012 AMP became aware of significantly enriched lithium concentrations within subsurface brines in the Paradox Basin, hosted primarily in clastic stratigraphy of the Paradox Formation evaporite sequences. In 2016 AMP began acquisition of US Federal placer lithium claims and Utah State lithium leases. American Potash lithium claim and State lithium lease acquisition is ongoing. American Potash plan to drill 2 wells targeting known lithium brine aquifers beneath their Utah State leases and beneath their Federal lithium mining claims within 6 months and 1 year, respectively. In late early 2017 AMP began acquisition of Federal placer Li Claims in the Paradox Basin of SW Colorado. Li Claims were located over historic oil and gas well fields. 8

9 PARADOX BASIN A large Pennsylvanian-age marine basin in southeast Utah and southwest Colorado. The basin includes a thick series of marine evaporite deposits that define the Paradox Formation which is comprised of up to of 29 saltevaporite sequences separated by intervening clastic beds. The intervening clastic layers can be porous and permeable and function as brine aquifer host beds. 9

10 PARADOX BASIN: Brine Occurences Paradox Basin brines are multi commodity containing potentially economic concentrations of Li, Br, K, and B. Subsurface brines were commonly encountered during historic oil and gas drilling at widespread locations in the Paradox Basin. Historically, brines were rarely sampled but, where analyzed, these brines are of the Cl Na Mg - type with Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) often ranging from 20% to 40%. Comprehensive brine analyses are known from seven wells located in the Big Flat- Long Canyon, Seven Mile, and Lisbon Valley areas. Samples contain from 66 ppm to 1,700 ppm lithium, 18,800 ppm to 41,958 ppm potassium and 1,150 ppm to 6,100 ppm bromine. The AMP Utah lithium project is is located about 10-miles northwest of and on trend with known lithiumenriched brines occurrences at the Big Flat - Long Canyon and Seven Mile lithium brine producing wells (see slide 11). The AMP Colorado lithium property is located just across the border, east of Lisbon Valley Utah and approximately 5-miles east of Superior Oil 88-21P which produced a brine sample containing 339 ppm elemental lithium. Two historic oil and gas wells (Federal 1-26 and Shell Quintana) with documented brine production are located on AMP s Utah lithium project area approximately 10-miles northwest of the Big Flat Long Canyon and Seven Mile lithium brine producing wells. 10

Large (~6,750 acres) area on UT area of interest that has been designated as open for location of processing-recovery facilities by the BLM. Only company exploring lithium in Paradox Basin with potential to recover and develop potash in brines. 18

19 NEAR TERM OBJECTIVES Complete a two-well drill program at Utah lithium project to sample brine bearing zones and Cycle 5 potash layer. First well to be completed in 6 months and second well 6 months subsequent to first. Evaluate Paradox Basin land consolidation and new lithium brine acquisition opportunities. Acquire and evaluate additional data from Paradox Basin historic drilling and seismic surveys. Generate relationships with current Paradox Basin oil and gas producers to evaluate coproduced brines. Sample and analyze lithium content of co-produced brines from targeted producing oil and gas wells in Colorado well fields encompassed by our lithium claims. Research brine aquifer stratigraphic and structural controls at Colorado lithium project and begin plans to target brine exploration wells. Design a program to test specific brine aquifers in shut-in wells and/or new wells on the Colorado lithium claims. 19
