16 Smart City- Intelligent Disaster Prevention Open Data Conclusions Even Taipei area suffered several kinds of disasters, such as earthquake, flood, landslide and so on. The monitoring and the early-warning system (Apps) are indeed mitigating the disasters and heightening public awareness towards disaster preparedness. Disaster Management requires not only engineering, but National Spatial Planning. Open Data (disaster information) is very important for creating new disaster prevention service(startups) of B to B, and facilitating the hazard mitigation and risk communication for public. Taiwan has excellent experiences in ICT and disaster prevention. It is an opportunity for providing total solution for creating resilience and sustainable city.
