5 NEW ACQUISITION PROJECT 81 Ring of Fire Resources ( ROF ) has acquired a 100% ownership of 60, 692 hectares (149,909 acres) of patented land 30 kilometres north of Timmins, Ontario ( Project 81 ) that had been held since 1923 by AbitibiBowater, a major timber, pulp and paper company plus an additional 11,526 +/- hectares (28,469 +/- acres) of recently staked mineral claims in Bradburn and Calder Twps ROF recently acquired Project 81 for its attractive historical gold potential of approximately 1,700m strike length and nickel intercepts over 1,265 (440m) identified by INCO (now Valé) in the 1960 s and by McIntyre-Porcupine Mines in Exploration replacement cost would be in excess of $20-25 million for work completed to date The world-famous Timmins mining district boasts significant industrial infrastructure and is host to 49 present and past-producing mines including Xtrata s Kidd Creek mine and smelting facility ROF represents the opportunity to take part in major discoveries in one of the world s most established mining districts 5

7 FRANCO-NEVADA PARTNERSHIP PROJECT 81 ROF has partnered with Franco-Nevada on Project 81 Franco-Nevada (FNV-TSX/NYSE) has assisted in financing the acquisition of Project 81 by purchasing a $2,000,000, three-year, 5% convertible debenture - convertible into shares at $0.20 Franco-Nevada has acquired from ROF for $500,000: ROF s right to purchase 2.25% NSR pursuant to its agreement with AbiBow ROF s first right of refusal (FROR) to purchase the remainder of the 2.75% NSR retained by AbiBow, should AbiBow elect to sell this interest at anytime Franco-Nevada has also agreed to backstop an additional payment of $1,500,000 due in 180 or 365 days under similar conditions. This partnership represents a strong endorsement of the mineral development potential of Project
