1 Office f Curriculum and Instructin Earth Science Grade 6 Prerequisite: Nne ABSTRACT Earth Science intrduces an extensive inquiry apprach t the study f the changing surface f the earth. Students are prvided with a cmprehensive up-t-date apprach t the nature f matter and are intrduced t fundamental cncepts f physical and earth science that frm a fundatin upn which t build science knwledge. The prgram prvides students with the cnceptual framewrk, factual knwledge, and analytical skills necessary t investigate and understand the cmpsitin f Earth s surface and hw it changes.
