5 General Approach Tradition is a single conventional idealized scenario. We ll make multiple realizations of a scenario, framed probabilistically. Hypothesis: This is more likely to enhance a community s resilience.

7 Ground Motions overall scheme approximately 100 scenario ground motion maps each with its own probability, which includes the weight on the relative likelihood of having that scenario. In addition, we will be providing time histories of ground motions for engineers to use for buildings, liquefaction, landslides, etc.. Fault rupture models for tsunamis Emphasis - Basin amplification factors (1-10 sec) for design of tall buildings.

Where are tall buildings most vulnerable in PNW? Investigate next-generation systems
