The Gulf Stream is a Atlantic Ocean current. W = Winds. Regular winds blow across the globe. The windless area near the equator is known as the doldrums. S = Storms. Circular Atlantic Ocean storms are called hurricanes. In the Pacific and Indian Oceans, they are known as cyclones and typhoons. Culture: 1. Define the following terms: a.
