My research questions integrate both theoretical concern, e.g., spatial interpolation, spatiotemporal analysis, and practical concern, e.g., spatial mismatch, urban sprawl, commuting, and 3D visualization. My academic and research experience have provided me with a solid background in the fields of GIS and transportation studies, and this background, along with my passion for innovation in the application of GIS to urban transportation issues, will allow me to continue to make a significant contribution to the geographic discipline, applied urban planning, and society as a whole.
