Implementation of most of the originally planned watershed management subprojects are being completed. Significant progress was made for the construction of wastewater treatment and sanitation facilities with four sewage facilities completed and handed over to the respective operators. The countries are now focusing on expanding those activities utilizing additional funding. The Bank and project teams are now conducting a series of stock-taking exercises to assess impacts and lessons within the main investment components of the project, as a basis for discussion of future directions for the program. The project teams has also begun preparation for the additional investments by conducting technical mission. The technical mission for watershed management activities has been completed and a similar mission for pollution management activities is planned for early Page 2 of 12
