Software Packages TNM MAT NETZONE A suite of software tool for solving a variety of network problems in transportation. A suite of software tool for solving various optimization problems specific to transportation applications. Both TNM and MAT have been used in support of a number of research projects funded by National Science Foundation and California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS), including Improved continuum models of vehicular traffic, National Science Foundation, CMS# , Development of a path flow estimator for deriving steady-state and time-dependent origin-destination trip tables, Caltrans Task Order 4135, Integrated construction zone traffic management, Caltrans Task Order 5300, Developing calibration tools for microscopic traffic simulation. Caltrans Task Order 5308, A software tool developed for construction work zone traffic impact analysis and management. NETZONE is the first specific network-based software suite designed for this purpose. CALTRANS is reviewing and testing NET- ZONE with the help of the University of California Davis. 5
