2 Implementation Status and Key Decisions This report is based on the findings of the supervision mission of June 2018 in the cities of Campinas and Sao Paulo, and in other municipalities. The mission visited project activities in the field and saw several examples of the concrete positive impact that the project is generating. The project continues to produce results on the ground, as confirmed by the result of the DIME evaluation. This evaluation estimated that organizations supported by the project increased their sales by 87%, versus an 8% project target. The project will close on September 30, 2018 and an Implementation Completion & Results Report assessing the achievements of the project and highlighting the lessons of experience will be prepared within 6 months of the closing date. 6/26/2018 Page 2 of 15

After reviewing the estimates of their business plans. 60 organizations decided that they did not want to go ahead with the request for funding. This was because they considered the estimated returns not sufficient to justify the risks. The six municipalities listed here functioned like a test to validate the rural road management system. After validation, the system was developed as a software. Once the software will be completed (expected in the next few weeks) it will be installed in many municipalities. probably significantly more than the 25 target.
