1 Buncombe County UCC June 20, 2013 MINUTES Call to order by Roger Watson / Brian Groome New attendees and guests Announcements by Roger Watson / Brian Groome 1. Mike Stamey is contacting Tom Brookshire with Henderson County UCC to discuss joint breakfast meeting this fall. Will have more information at our next meeting. Round Table o Mike Stamey for MSD-Current In-House Construction projects include the following: o Dig and replacing 1,200 LF of sewer line on Walnut Lane in Woodfin. o In July will begin replacing 400 LF of sewer line on Craven Street in Asheville at the Brewery Site. o Later this summer will be replacing the existing sewer line in the back parking lot of West Funeral Home in Weaverville. This project will include some work in Central Avenue. Mike Mullins for ATT-waiting on DOT permit to bury approx feet of fiber on Sharon Rd starting at Charlotte Hwy, cable will be on the right side of road Roger Watson for MSD-upcoming are Mt. Vernon Pl, Merrimon Colonial Pl, Bradley Branch Rd, Ph 2 and Crockett Rd/Dogwood Dr BRICKS AND BOUQUETS Brick-gas co to ATT-need to sort out what is and is not an emergency Brick-gas co to ATT-found gas line damaged over 10 years ago by ATT contractor Brick-water to Charter-what s the deal with having to wait on locators to come from out of town 811 Program
