39 Metadata and its role in sharing Training overview Create metadata using the ArcGIS Server Geoportal Extension web-based based Metadata Editor. Metadata will be published and shared to Geospatial One-Stop (GOS). Participants will use their real content for the exercises, therefore adding new and relevant content to GOS. Trainees will also be shown how to discover geospatial services within GOS. Participants will be exposed to the FGDC service status checker to assess the service availability.

40 Training Format The technical training will be a three-part webinar consisting of lectures and hands-on exercises The sessions are scheduled for: July 27th, August 3rd and August 10th 1pm 4pm ET / 10am 1pm PT There will be time after the webinar for ESRI to answer follow-up questions and provide additional guidance
