2 Conference Theme The aim of this conference is to focus on advancements and prospects of 2D nanostructures including graphene. Graphene has been considered as the first popular 2D nanomaterial. Adding to the popularity of 2D nanomaterials, complex nanomaterials such as MoS 2 and WS 2 have been researched extensively. Active research on 2D nanostructures results in development of nanotechnology based devices and advanced nanostructures for various application areas such as flexible and wearable electronics, sensors, energy generation and storage, environmental remediation, biomedical devices and nanomedicine. This conference will provide a platform for researchers to present their findings and novel ideas as well as interact with leading industries in the field of applications of nanostructures. The technical sessions would encompass experts from academics and industries. Technical Sessions Technical sessions would focus on the applications of 2D nanostructures in the following areas: Electronics and sensors Energy and environment Medicine and therapeutics The College and the Department PSG College of Technology, a premier institution for engineering education in India, started in 1951 is government aided, autonomous, ISO 9001 certified and affiliated to Anna University. The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering came in to existence in the year The department offers B.E. programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering and PG Programmes include M.E. Communication Systems, M.E. VLSI Design, M.E. Wireless Communications and M. Tech. Nanoscience and Technology offering high class technical and innovative experience to the students. The department offers doctoral and M.S by Research programmes in both part time and full time mode. The department has produced around 72 Ph.Ds and around 86 scholars are pursuing doctoral research in the areas of Nanotechnology, VLSI Design, Signal/Image Processing and Wireless Technologies.

Tech. in Nanoscience and Technology from It is a multi-disciplinary course to envision the students with extensive career opportunities as well as to train them in a wide range of capabilities to apply their knowledge on various domains particularly to design, analyze and manufacture nanocomponents, nanodevices and nanosystems.
