Primary Use: The Workplace Employers and workers use the SDS as a source of information about hazards and to obtain advice on safety precautions. An SDS for a substance is not primarily intended for use by the general consumer, focusing instead on the hazards of working with the material in an occupational setting.

Section 2, Hazard(s) identification includes all hazards regarding the chemical; required label elements.
