Osa 1: Kiirguse karakteristikud ja saamismeetodid sisaldab rahvusvahelise standardi ISO :1996 X and gamma reference radiation for calibrating dosemeters and doserate meters and for determining their response as a function of photon energy Part 1: Radiation characteristics and production methods identset ingliskeelset teksti. This Estonian Standard consists of the identical English text of the International Standard ISO :1996 X and gamma reference radiation for calibrating dosemeters and doserate meters and for determining their response as a function of photon energy Part 1: Radiation characteristics and production methods. Ettepaneku rahvusvahelise standardi ümbertrüki meetodil ülevõtuks on esitanud EVS/TK 28, standardi avaldamist on korraldanud Eesti Standardikeskus. Standard on jõustunud sellekohase teate avaldamisega EVS Teataja aasta märtsikuu numbris. Proposal to adopt the International Standard by reprint method has been presented by EVS/TK 28, the Estonian standard has been published by the Estonian Centre for Standardisation. This standard has been endorsed with a notification published in the March 2015 issue of the official bulletin of the Estonian Centre for Standardisation. Käsitlusala See ISO 4037 osa kirjeldab röntgeni ja gamma referentskiirguse karakteristikuid ja saamismeetodeid kaitsetaseme dosimeetrite ja doosikiiruse mõõteseadmete kalibreerimiseks õhukerma kiiruse väärtuse vahemikus 10 µgy h 1 kuni 10 Gy h 1 ning nende koste määramiseks footonenergia funktsioonina. Meetodeid referentskiirguste rühma saamiseks konkreetse footonenergia vahemiku jaoks kirjeldatakse neljas peatükis, milles on määratud nende kiirguste karakteristikud. Neli referentskiirguste rühma on: a) energiavahemikus alates ligikaudu 7 kev kuni 250 kev, pidev filtreeritud röntgenkiirgus ja ameriitsium-241 gammakiirgus; b) energiavahemikus 8 kev kuni 100 kev, fluorestsentskiirgus; c) energiavahemikus 600 kev kuni 1,3 MeV, radionukliidide kiiratud gammakiirgus; d) energiavahemikus 4 MeV kuni 9 MeV, reaktorite ja kiirendite toodetud gammakiirgus. Need referentskiirgused tuleb valida tabelist 1.

5 @ IS0 IS :1996(E) Foreword IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work of preparing lnternational Standards is normally carried out through IS0 technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. IS0 collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote. International Standard IS I was prepared by Technical Committee lso/tc 85, A/w/ear energy, Subcommittee SC 2, Radiation protection. This first edition of IS , along with ISO , cancels and replaces the first edition of IS0 4037:1979, which has been technically revised. IS consists of the following parts, under the general title X and gamma reference radiation for calibrating dosemeters and doserate meters and for determining their response as a function of photon energy. - Part 1: Radiation characteristics and production methods - Part 2: Dosimetry of X and gamma reference radiation for radiation protection over the energy ranges 8 kev to 1,3 MeV and 4 MeV to 9MeV Annex A of this part of IS is for information only.... 6 INTERNATIONAL IS0 IS0 EVS-ISO 4037=1:1996(E) :2015 X and gamma reference radiation for calibrating dosemeters and doserate meters and for determining their response as a function of photon energy - Part I: Radiation characteristics and production methods 1 Scope This part of IS specifies the characteristics and production methods of X and gamma reference radiation for calibrating protection-level dosemeters and rate dosemeters at air kerma rates from 10 pgy.h-l to 10 Gy.h-1 and for determining their response as a function of photon energy. The methods for producing a group of reference radiations for a particular photon-energy range are described in four sections which define the characteristics of these radiations. The four groups of reference radiation are: a) in the energy range from about 7 kev to 250 kev, continuous filtered X radiation and the gamma radiation of americium-241 ; b) in the energy range 8 kev to 100 kev, fluorescence X radiation; cl in the energy range 600 kev to I,3 MeV, gamma radiation emitted by radionuclides; d) in the energy range 4 MeV to 9 MeV, gamma radiation produced by reactors and accelerators.
