In addition, this allows students to demonstrate knowledge of cell structures and functions of eukaryotes in an alternate form. Respond to the following question: Compare and contrast a plant and animal cell. What organelles and structures do they have in common? What organelles and structures are different? How do the characteristics of animal and plant cells give rise to the differences in plants and animals in general? When addressing organelles be sure to describe their functions. A table, chart, or drawing is acceptable. (30 points) 9
