Cancerians carry emotional memories close to their heart, and while they may not remember any actual event, their body remembers the feelings. Let us honor and channel this trait to see where we carry emotional patterns which may need self-loving, which may need changing, and which may need releasing. Our bodies remember even if our intellectual self doesn t. Leo 23July 22 Aug When we are alive, we are warm. When we are dead, we are cold. While you are alive be warm. And when you are dead be cold. But until then be VERY warm. Leo Ascending When you see the brightness of a Leo, you know that they are warm and alive. 4 Gossip Corner What am I getting up to.. everything! Myths, Astrology and Palmistry Discussion Group Normally on the third Sunday of the month at 3.30pm at Dyoligy of Traralgon But this month is cancelled not the whole month just the discussion group Because I am going to a workshop on Lilith, the potent feminine archetype. Should be interesting! My next workshop is on the 19 th August at 3.30pm and will be on the connection of your Astrology chart with the Chakras. We will cover what the Chakras are and which Chakra is easily activated or which one always seems to turn off for you? I will give you more details next newsletter. I will be on the World Radio! I am amazed that I just got interviewed on Moon Gardening for an online radio station which is picked up in 93 countries! Ancient Moon Gardening Gazing out the window I can see the veggie patch and this mid-winter month there is a thick growth of green manure broad beans, and I have been picking the tips to eat. There is the last of the beetroot, the spinach and a few herbs. The citrus trees are going great and all I did over the last few days was to prune the roses at a perfect time to prune for growth and as little weeding as I possibly could, so it was a quiet time in the garden. Down here in southern Victoria it was too darn cold to do much. Ohh I miss warmer days. Watching nature and plants grow is a metaphor for life and this month I noticed that nature is already acting as if spring is on its way. Does it know something that we don t? But then I remember seasons in the past when an early spring burst of blossom and growth got wiped out with a cold front and frosts. So, on refection I think that Mother Nature does not have an inside private line to Master Weather. She tries to predict it, but sometimes gets it wrong. If she gets it wrong then its OK if we get things wrong. occasionally! One mistake is a mistake, twice is a pattern and three times means that you need help (a kinesiologist) to rewire the brain! There are shifts in feelings and energy levels at all New and Full Moons, when planets move into signs, or when there are connections (aspects) between planets, or when they turn retrograde or move direct again. Pay attention to the days when these shifts happen and notice your feelings and energy levels. This understanding will enhance your experience of life. To further experience the rhythm of the Moon I suggest that you aim to start planning new projects and events at the New Moon, initiate them the day after the New Moon and bring them to full development approximately two weeks later at the Full Moon. From the Full Moon back to the New Moon is a time to look at the consequences, to reflect on what you achieved and to think about changes or new ideas that you will birth again at the New Moon. Enjoy the ride! What s that in the sky? July 2018 To be amazed by the heavens, first get your bearings and note that North is the warmest side of the house. Face north and on your right is the east where the Sun rises, and on your left is west where the sun sets. Behind you is south. The darkest night is on the New Moon on the 13 th July and the brightest night is with the Full Moon on the 28 th July. For all you Night Owls A beautiful sight awaits you tonight with Venus the Evening star shining in the west and close to the bright star Regulus in the heart of Leo the Lion. Mercury is lower and practically sitting on the horizon at sunset. Find yourself handy hill or high spot and watch the place where the sun disappears. you will see one of those faint stars moving over the

6 other faint stars and golly yes, you have found Mercury. I still remember the excitement that I felt the first time I found him. It s a bit like seeing magic. Jupiter is overhead to the north and a big hand span to the right is Antares, in the eye of the Scorpion who always keeps us company over winter. Follow the line of stars to see the gigantic twist and curve of his tail. Saturn is high in the east and all the way to the eastern horizon is Mars. Yes, it s a busy night with two planets to the left of us, two planets to the right and a planet overhead! Let the Moon be your guide when she is with Mercury on the 14 th and 15 th, with Venus on the 16 th, with Jupiter on the 21 st, with Saturn on the 25 th and with Mars on the 27 th and 28 th. Turn around to see the Southern Cross the right way up with the Pointer Stars clear and bright, pointing the way. Even the heavens want you to see it clearly! Remember that we are the ones doing the moving and the sun does not set we roll away from him! The Sun does not rise we roll towards him. Thinking about it feels weird but allowing yourself to feel the motion will enhance your viewpoint of this wonderful planet we live on. For all you Early Birds Early this month on the 1 st and again the 28 th July you will see the Moon below Mars in the north-west. Lower in the west is Saturn but he will be gone within a few days and will become clearly visible in the evening. The Southern Cross is in the south, yep, that s why they called it the Southern Cross. Anyhow, the Cross is upside down and very low in the sky and the Pointer Stars have their work cut pointing the way as even they are low to the right. Go back to bed or continue on your way to work and have a great day. Let yourself be amazed. Thank You to those that keep me healthy!
