Our indicators scored 100% this week. Before I tell you a bit of good news, let me share some bad news with you. If you have been reading this letter for any length of time, you know the OSS INDICATORS simply do not work during holiday weeks. Well, the cosmos through us for a loop this time. The indicators worked fine this holiday week, but totally failed the week before. Unfortunately, I made a few Put reccommendation the week before last. Three of the four recommendation dropped by 50%, our automatic stop. FST was one of those recommendations, but it sure made up for it this week when the stock dropped from a High on the 6th of $28.07 to a Low on the 8th of $ Our Jul11 27 Puts were down to $0.25 on the 6th, than hit a High on the 8th of $3.30. So, we made a good pick, but the Holiday messed with our timing. Per the Astro Trend graphs below, you can see the SPY chart was showing a sharp drop to its lowest level in quite some time. I would have played some OEX Puts with this type of sharp drop, but it was a holiday week, and I have learned an important lesson over the years concerning the Stock Market and Holidays: Never expected a move down during such weeks. The Astro Trend graph for IAU showed a strong rise between 06/29 and 07/06. The GLD (SPDR Gold Trust) made a very clear candle reversal during the week, and followed through. Another could have / should have, but I was still worried about the Holiday week affect. I am still expecting a move down for the OEX into the middle of July. The poor jobs report last week seems to have kick-started the decline. With only 18,000 new jobs when the expectation was 125,000, and an unemployment increase to 9.2%, I don t think you could ask for a gloomier picture. The OEX is also hitting another Gann line. Notice it reversed when it hit the first Gann line.

2 OSS NEWSLETTER & FORECAST Sunday, July 10, The VIX is in a wedge, and currently resting on support. The QQQ is also showing signs of a reversal. From the astrological view of things, we started a period of surprise than runs from last Wednesday to the middle of this week. Uranus is going direct today. Uranus is associated with surprise. This is also a period when the markets (OEX, SPX, DJIA) then to make strong moves in the days leading up to a Uranus stationary event. See the chart on Page 4 for the past few Uranus stationary periods, and for a list of upcoming stationary periods. Venus will form a square to Saturn on the 13 th. Financial astrologers say that markets forming a bottom at this time are good candidates for a reversal up. Hmm Looks to me like the VIX is forming a bottom. Astro Trend graphs show a negative count for the SPY continuing through this week. While the graph for Gold is also showing weakness, thing do become better as the week progresses. Right Wrong Comment Higher price with week Last Friday's Close was Thursday's High was "Expecting a major reversal starting on the 7th or 8th." OEX rallied into the 7th, then tanked almost 8 point (-1.32%) on the 8th. The biggest move for the week was Thursday which had a V rating of -2, but surrounded by V ratings of +1. All we could speculate from this was that the end of the week would see the largest move. The A reversal on Thursday definitely showed itself on Friday. Big drops are most likely to occur at the beginning of the 1st and 4 th quarters of the Lunar cycle. Friday was the first day of the cycles 1 st quarter. The Projected Trend graph had one item that stuck out: Big move on Wednesday. The move came on Thursday which is within our -1/+1 day time frame.
